These pictures are from my son, Anderson’s 10th birthday party. We celebrated on Saturday, June 24th. We threw the party in our garage and rented a giant water slide that went in our front yard. Anderson really wanted a slide with two lanes so the kids could race each other, so that’s what he got! We used Action Packed Parties for the rental. They came to our home and set up the slide and then came back at the end of the day to take it down. This is my third time using this company and i have always been pleased! Anderson loves digital numbers, so the theme of his party was a digital 10. I had a digital 10 t-shirt made, had digital 10 goodie bags and digital watches. We also had a “10” Piñata and “10” balloons. I used Party City for the balloons, plates, cups, etc. I used Red and Blue as colors to decorate in and I made a banner that said Happy Birthday, Anderson in digital lettering. I called every bakery locally and no one could make a digital 10 cake, so I ended up going to Publix for the cake. It did not turn out as I had hoped. Next year I will use a bakery for sure, even if I have to drive an hour to find one. We had about 35 kids at the party and I think they all had fun. They started with the water slide. We ordered a bunch of Papa John’s pizzas and had “digital 10” cake and ice cream. We then did the pinatas. There were two because of the 1 and the 0. The kids had a lot of fun hitting them with a bat and just a few tears were shed over the amount of candy each kid got. 😉
We did get one good pic of our family..which I will cherish forever. My dress is Free People from Nordstrom (available here). Happy 10th Anderson! I love you with all my heart. You are funny and you make me laugh every day. You are smart, and have so many people who love you. I’m so excited to see where this year takes you!
